Handpan

We offer many different tunings and materials. E.g.: D minor, D major, OM minor, OM major or C minor.

We also offer pentatonic, Arabic or Asian sounding handpans.

Steel, stainless steel or nitrided steel is used.

Stainless steel:

Stainless steel handpans sound full, clear and they resonate for a long time.

They are particularly suitable for quieter, meditative playing. After playing, the individual tones stand out clearly and for a long time. Longer pauses in sound can be comfortably filled and there are no unpleasant interruptions in the flow.

The overtones also stand out clearly and can be accentuated by various attack techniques.

TheNuBlu:

'The Nu Blu' is our newest material, a nitrided (hardened) steel.

The material is well protected against corrosion and impresses with its very warm, grounded sound and balanced overtones. This material doesn't sound tinny even when played a little harder.

Dynasteel:

These handpans are ideal for fast and percussive playing.

The tones are clear, but shorter than the tones of a stainless steel handpan in the room. Because the tones fade away faster, it is possible to play fast and drive rhythms on the instrument.

There are large and small Bakpac handpans!

Since the purchase of a handpan usually requires a lot of advice and guidance, which we are of course very happy to offer, it is now possible to contact us not only by telephone but also by video chat, for example via WhatsApp or Skype, or Zoom where we not only offer very comprehensive information, but can also demonstrate the individual handpans.
