What is Baur&Brown?
Bill Brown, one of the most experienced pan tuners in Europe, has been building steel drums and the well-known Caisa with great success since 1986.
Tim Baur looks back on a 10-year drum construction phase. During this time he built the Cosmicpan Handpan and the Om-Drum (tongue drum) and now the well-known Baur&Brown Handpans.
Both have been fascinated by the research and construction of musical instruments made of metal - especially the handpan - for years.
So what happens when two experienced manufacturers throw all their energy, joy and experience into one big pot or wok?

We are proud to introduce you to our Baur&Brown handpans.
Made from processes and materials that have been tried and tested over many years, our Baur&Brown handpans have carefully tuned overtones and a balanced volume. We can offer you a variety of different tunings and 3 different metals - TheNuBlu, our newest material, a very special stainless steel alloy and Dyna steel. We also offer a fast and inexpensive retuning service for our instruments.
If you would like to buy a handpan, it is best to send us a message using our order form.
We make delivery times by arrangement, as we would like to continue to manufacture our instruments with pleasure and do not want to mutate into mass production. We reserve the right to only manufacture a limited number of instruments in order to preserve the value and valence of this instrument. If an instrument is in stock, this is noted in the shop.
If your desired model is not included, call us or send us an email and we will inform you as soon as we have hammered something wonderful again.
We would also be happy to create your desired atmosphere. Here it is also possible to incorporate up to seven notes on the underside of the handpan. We are very flexible and willing to experiment! Just write us your ideas and we will try our best to implement them! :)

After making an appointment, you can visit us, try out the instruments on site and, of course, you are also welcome to purchase one.
